Malo, is the founder of the restaurant !
In the spring of 1991 Malo purchased the building from the government and puts his name on the restaurant.

In 1972 Malo finished cooking school in Tirana. Up to the early '90s he worked in almost all restaurants in his hometown of Pogradec. In early 1977 he was part of the elite chefs, as they were preparing food for the government members while they were on vacation in Pogradec.

Malo came from a family where cooking was a tradition. His mother was a big influence on his journey towards cooking.

Manel and Daniel,Malo's sons inherited his cooking skills. His wife is still cooking the traditional food while his son, Manel kept the same line of cooking as his father and added more Mediterranean flavour on the restaurant's menu. Customers are very happy and they always come back. Today Malo's family is very proud of what they have achieved.

Preparing the ribs takes time, we prepare it very carefully as we have 20 years selling them. The filling of the ribs has those ingredients: and then we bake them slowly in the oven.

350 gr of fresh veal: steak, thin steak, stuffed ribs, kackavalle (yellow semi-hard cheese),
sour-cream, eggs, red wine.

Ingredients are always fresh and prepared at moment we get the order.

Over the years we have noticed that the most selling dishes are fish and veal.

In this mix of 400 gr we have combined belushke with veal consisting of the following parts: thin steak, stuffed ribs,
and offals (heart, liver, kidneys).

Discovered this restaurant thanks to my friend Fuad Hadrecin, who lives in OHRI. We traveled from OHRI to Struga Kafesan border gate from OHRI to Pogradec, Albania. The restaurant is on the shore of Lake Ohrid. They welcomed us very well in the restaurant. It is forbidden to catch this fish in Macedonia. The restaurant staff equipped the table perfectly. The menu was the red speckled Trout Various appetizers and the prominent dishes of Albanian cuisine. The price was suitable
