Malo, is the founder of the restaurant !
In the spring of 1991 Malo purchased the building from the government and puts his name on the restaurant.
In 1972 Malo finished cooking school in Tirana. Up to the early '90s he worked in almost all restaurants in his hometown of Pogradec. In early 1977 he was part of the elite chefs, as they were preparing food for the government members while they were on vacation in Pogradec.
Malo came from a family where cooking was a tradition. His mother was a big influence on his journey towards cooking.
Manel and Daniel,Malo's sons inherited his cooking skills. His wife is still cooking the traditional food while his son, Manel kept the same line of cooking as his father and added more Mediterranean flavour on the restaurant's menu. Customers are very happy and they always come back. Today Malo's family is very proud of what they have achieved.
